Meet our Senior Doulas

Carla

Carla is a labor and postpartum doula. She specializes in hypno-birthing and traditional Japanese Reiki.

Jackie
Having raised 7 of her own children, Jackie's love of babies led her to become a postpartum doula. She enjoys sharing her years of experience with parents as they embrace their new roles as mom and dad. As a mother of twins, Jackie specializes in the care of multiples. She offers day and night support.



Michelle

Michelle is a labour and postpartum doula and mother of 3 teenagers with over 15 years of supporting families. Michelle offers a variety of experience to assist all family dynamics with whatever support they require to get them through the transition from birth to home. As a labour doula, Michelle is also a HypnoBirthingTM doula and practitioner, which provides her with the skills needed to offer families a calm, gentle and positive birth experience. As a postpartum doula, Michelle takes pride in her vast experience supporting mothers with breastfeeding, sleep issues and infant massage; with particular interest and experience in overnight care of multiples.

LeeAnne

LeeAnne is a certified Labour Doula, Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator and Caesarean & VBAC Specialist. LeeAnne enjoys sharing her knowledge with others and has an avid interest and experience in home birth, water birth, breastfeeding, birth photography and postpartum support with multiples.

Rosita

Rosita is a postpartum doula and a registered nutritionist. She is a mother of 2 who specializes in breastfeeding support and also prenatal and postnatal nutritional support to optimize health, immunity and well being for both mom and baby. Rosita enjoys working with infants as well as children of all ages and often uses her musical abilites to entertainen and encourage them. She helps new parents ease into their new roles with confidence.



   Melissa

    Melissa is a postpartum doula as well as a student nurse who specializes in multiple birth care.

Georget

Georget is a trained Birth Doula and a Postpartum Doula. She specializes in labour support, multiples care, meal preparation and breastfeeding support. As a mother of 3 children and with her many years of experience supporting families, Georget believes in every woman’s right to a Doula. Georget is happy to be that extra pair of hands, ears, eyes and shoulders to make the transition into parenthood a smooth one. As a Doula, Georget is a firm believer in the old adage “it takes a village to raise a child”.

Pamela

Pamela is a labor doula and mother of 7-year-old fraternal twins. She has 9 years of volunteer experience dedicated to Labor and Delivery and postpartum support.She has been a volunteer in several hospitals as a birthing coach as well as a Breastfeeding Companion with Peel Health Region. She is very passionate and dedicated to her work as a Doula; feeling proud of the difference we make in couples or women’s lives.

Toriano

Toriano is a birth and postpartum doula. She assists parents in the adjustment process from birth through their postpartum period. She enjoys providing parents with the support they require to meet the needs of their new babies, and the changes in their family's new experiences.

Carla M.

Carla M. has been involved in the childbirth community for over eleven years, inspired by her experiences with midwifery care during her first pregnancy. The opportunity to provide caring, compassionate and nonjudgmental support to women and their families while still caring for her own family and sharing the wonder and beauty of pregnancy and childbirth inspired her to become a doula. Carla is currently working towards certification as a labour doula, postpartum doula and HypnoBirthing Practitioner. In addition to her labour and postpartum doula training with CAPPA-Canada, she has taken courses in breastfeeding support, acupressure for doulas, HypnoBirthing Support Techniques for Doulas and adult education.

Carrie

Carrie is a DONA certified Birth doula with approx 2 and a half years experince. She has begun her journey as a postpartum doula as well and working towards certification with DONA. She loves helping new families have an empowering birth experience and also welcoming baby home. She has also encapsulated placentas for new mom's which has been reported to increase breastmilk suppy, enriched breastmilk, and reduced baby blues and Postpartum Mood Disorders. She looks forward to working with you and your new baby.

Meet our Apprentice Doulas

Sindy

Sindy is a postpartum and labor doula. Sindy is always excited and passionate and is ready to give the necessary guidance and support that families require during this special time. Sindy is devoted to working together with parents to provide the best care for all her clients.

Kimberly

After spending several years doing international volunteer work, Kimberly returned to Canada to pursue her passion of supporting women and babies through birth. Through her caring and encouraging personality, she has much to offer pregnant women and their families. She is a student midwife as well as a trained labour doula.

Sabrina

Inspired by her birth experience, Sabrina has become a Postpartum Doula and plans on completing training to be a Labour Doula this summer. She has been a Paramedic since 2002 and is also an experienced photographer. Sabrina is kind and gentle and an inspiration for a healthy happy family life. She is a new mother to a happy baby boy and can attest 1st hand to the PMD Sleep training system. She had many obstacles to overcome with breastfeeding but with lots of support she was successful and now wants to pay it forward and be there to support families with their new journey in life.

Alison

Alison is used to late nights and can wake at the slightest little cry. She has been working as a Paramedic for the past ten years and is a CPR instructor. She is a Postpartum Doula and is training for her Labour Doula certification. Alison has your infants health and safety as her top priority. She is as compassionate and calm as they come, in any situation. She has a tender heart and gentle hands that will cradle your growing family with love!!
